He spoke on behalf of his wife, Kamala Harris, just six days after the vice president of the U.S. launched her bid to win the presidency for the Democratic Party this November.The event wasn't a union rally, a civil liberties gathering or a climate change conference. It was the Hmong festival in Wausau, the city with the most Hmong per capita in the entire U.S.

Gun violence plagues Labor Day in Chicago and NYC Gunfire rang out in two major U.S. cities on Monday. In a Chicago suburb, four people were killed on a train. Frieze Seoul returns as South Korea deepens its art hub drive - Nikkei Asia SEOUL -- In a glitzy neighborhood in central Seoul's Gangnam district, Frieze Seoul is preparing to open its doors for a third time since the South Korean capital was chosen in 2022 to become the Asian base for one of the most prestigious international contemporary art fairs.Frieze Seoul, backed by the team that created the London, New York and Los Angeles Frieze events, will run at the COEX convention center, adjoining Starfield Mall, Asia's largest underground shopping complex, from Sept. 4 to Sept. 7, and is preparing to host more than 70,000 visitors.
