Suspension of rear and intermediate axles of motor grader DZ-98B
The suspension consists of two equalizers 1 welded of sheets, with the ball supports receiving the axle balls. Both equalizers are interconnected by common axle 12. Distance rod 7 holds the equalizer axle from turning.During rocking, the equalizers thrust against the stops on the motor grader frame. To hold the axles in the required position two torque rods 4 with the ball joints are installed. One end of the rod is connected to the axle, while the other one, to the motor grader frame.
The equalizer suspension of the axles makes possible for the motor grader to be adapted to irregular surface and ensures high quality of the jobs performed.
Brackets 2 of the equalizers are fastened to the frame stays with the bolts and centring pins.If any play appears in the ball joints of the torque rods, eliminate it by tightening adjusting nuts 5 as far they will go, then slacken them to an extent that their locking is possible. Play in the ball support of the axle fastening is eliminated by changing the number of gaskets under the cover. The bearings and ball supports are lubricated through the grease cups according to the Lubrication Chart.
