Baseball: Shohei Ohtani grabs 3rd weekly MVP award of season, 10th overall Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani has been named the National League's Player of the Week for the third time this season, Major League Baseball said Monday, following a remarkable span of play including a game in which he went 6-for-6 with three home runs, two steals and 10 RBIs to achieve a historic milestone. In the 20-4 rout of the Miami Marlins on Sept. 19, Ohtani became the first player to reach 50 homers and 50 stolen bases in an MLB season. India to raise seafood exports with aid, lower duties on inputs - Nikkei Asia NEW DELHI -- India is taking steps to boost production from fisheries and enhance the industry's infrastructure in hopes of raising the country's seafood exports to one trillion rupees ($12 billion) by March next year, an increase of around 67% from current levels.Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has allocated 26 billion rupees for the department of fisheries in the current annual budget, 54% more than the previous year. Most of the budget goes to a program aimed at raising fish production to 22 million tonnes by March 2025, up from nearly 14 million tonnes five years ago, for an average annual growth rate of about 9%.
