27.04.2025 17:16 A university student has been rescued after falling ill on Mt. Fuji, police said Sunday, the second time in one week that authorities saved the man while climbing Japan's tallest peak in the off-season.
The 27-year-old student from China living in Japan was found near the 8th station on the Fujinomiya trail, more than 3,000 meters above sea level on the mountain's Shizuoka Prefecture side.
