North Korea to cut off road and railway links to South Korea North Korea's army said it will cut road and railway links with South Korea starting Wednesday and fortify areas on its side of the border, state-run media reported. The General Staff of the Korean People's Army, saying the danger of war is escalating along the border, called the step a military measure to completely separate North Korea's territory from South Korea, according to the report Wednesday by the official Korean Central News Agency.
