Kentucky highway shooting suspect still on the loose Schools in several Kentucky counties were closed Monday as the FBI and the U.S. Marshal Service joined the manhunt for a gunman suspected of opening fire along Interstate 75 over the weekend, wounding five people. The arrest warrant for the suspect, 32-year-old Joseph Couch, alleges he vowed to "kill a lot of people" in a text message minutes before he shot and wounded five people on Saturday night.

Alibaba jumps 5% in Stock Connect debut aimed at tapping China billions - Nikkei Asia HONG KONG -- Chinese e-commerce conglomerate Alibaba Group on Tuesday made its debut on Stock Connect, the program that links Hong Kong's bourse with the Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges, opening a door for billions of dollars in potential investment from the mainland.Following the inclusion, Alibaba's shares jumped over 5% at one point in Hong Kong's morning trading session, making it the second best performer in the Hang Seng Tech Index after automaker Nio, which rallied over 8%. The overall tech index, which represents the 30 largest technology companies listed in the city, dipped slightly.

Japan-set drama "Shogun" claims 14 Creative Arts Emmy Awards Japan-set historical drama "Shogun" won 14 awards, including for its costumes and stunt performances, at the Creative Arts ceremony of U.S. television's Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. Set in 1600 during Japan's "Sengoku" warring states period, Shogun stars and was produced by Hiroyuki Sanada who remade a 1980 miniseries adaption of James Clavell's 1975 novel of the same name.
