Golf: Japan money champ Takumi Kanaya secures PGA Tour card via Q-school Japan's Takumi Kanaya earned his U.S. PGA Tour card Sunday after holding onto third place in the fourth round of the PGA Tour Q-School Final Stage. The 26-year-old, this year's top money winner on the Japanese professional men's golf tour, had four birdies and three bogeys for 1-under 69 at TPC Sawgrass in Florida to finish with a four-round total of 5-under 275, putting him in the top five and winning him a place on next year's PGA tour. Cambodian trainee seeks damages over alleged rapes at Japan farm A Cambodian technical trainee on Monday filed a damages suit against a manager at a strawberry farm north of Tokyo, alleging multiple instances of rape over a five-month period that led to pregnancy and an abortion. The 23-year-old woman is seeking about 80 million yen ($520,000) in damages from the 58-year-old manager at the farm in Tochigi Prefecture, according to a complaint filed with the Tokyo District Court. Trump meets widow of ex-Japanese PM Abe in Florida U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday met with Akie Abe, the widow of slain former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, his wife said. The former president, who will return to the White House for his second term on Jan. 20, and Melania Trump are believed to have hosted a private dinner for her. South Korea prosecutors again summon Yoon over martial law declaration South Korean prosecutors made their second request Monday for President Yoon Suk Yeol to appear at their office for questioning over his short-lived declaration of martial law, following one the previous day that he rejected, according to Yonhap News Agency. The move comes after the National Assembly passed an impeachment motion Saturday against Yoon over his Dec. 3 imposition of martial law that triggered public outrage.
