Japan aims for all new vehicles to use biofuel by early 2030s The Japanese government has called on automakers to adapt their new vehicles to biofuel by the early 2030s as part of efforts to reduce global warming gases. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said it expects the vehicles to be compatible with gasoline mixed with up to 20 percent biofuel, adding it plans to work with the private sector to formulate an action plan by next summer. Top after Friday's short program, Yoshida was second in the free skate with 131.59 points for a 199.46 total. 8 killed as 21-year-old man stabs people in province near Shanghai A 21-year-old man stabbed people at a vocational school in China's eastern coastal province of Jiangsu near Shanghai on Saturday afternoon, leaving eight dead and 17 injured, local police said. The man, who was arrested at the scene, has admitted to the crime.
