Japan's top government spokesman Yoshimasa Hayashi did not directly comment on Trump's use of the term or the prospect of a U.S.-North Korean dialogue. He instead stressed the importance of joint efforts to urge North Korea to "completely abandon" its nuclear and missile development, which threatens regional peace and security.
