During his two-day visit to Vientiane from Thursday, Ishiba will attend the "ASEAN Plus Three" with leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, China and South Korea to discuss economic cooperation and regional affairs, as well as the 18-member East Asia Summit that also involves the United States and India, according to Japanese government officials.
