Paralympics: Oda will "dominate" wheelchair tennis, Kunieda says Wheelchair tennis legend Shingo Kunieda expressed hope Saturday that newly crowned Paralympic champion Tokito Oda will continue to raise his game and take wheelchair tennis to the next level. Tokyo Stock Exchange carbon trading slowly picks up in first year - Nikkei Asia TOKYO -- Trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's carbon credit market is slowly picking up nearly a year after its launch as more Japanese companies show interest in utilizing it to achieve emission reduction targets.The TSE, managed by Japan Exchange Group (JPX), started carbon trading in October 2023 as part of efforts to put a price tag on emissions in a transparent and market-driven manner. The move came ahead of an expected increase in demand for trading in 2026, when the government plans to launch an emission trading system sometime during the fiscal year that begins in April of that year.

Baseball: Lefty Yusei Kikuchi picks up 4th win with Astros Japanese left-hander Yusei Kikuchi improved his record since joining the Houston Astros in a midseason trade to 4-0 after six innings of work in an 11-5 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday. Kikuchi (8-9), who was 4-9 with a 4.75 ERA for the Toronto Blue Jays until late July, gave up four runs on seven hits, two of them home runs, while walking none and striking out six.
